We all are sons of the earth,

And sure no aliens here.

But even plants to grow

All rely on favoring ground.

And also men for rise

Have to regard their homeland.

You’re white

And I’m brown.

You’ve got your family

And I’ve got my own.

Your world raised you

And my world raised me.

You feel with your soul

And I feel with my soul.

We can change views

But we can’t change souls.

So we’re aliens on ground.

Scientists said Thursday the western U.S. faces a growing water problem as the supply is on the decline while demand is steadily increasing. Climate change has affected the flow of rivers at the same time a growing population is using ever more water, according to researchers headed by a scientist at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

WHO: Nets, medicines win ground against malaria



A global movement to deliver insecticide-treated bed nets together with new medicines are cutting malaria infection and death rates across Africa, the World Health Organization said Thursday.
